Product Description
The vane pump is a type of pump where the vanes inside the rotor groove come into contact with the pump housing (stator ring), and the liquid being sucked in is pushed from the inlet side to the outlet side. When the rotor of the vane pump rotates, the vanes are under the action of centrifugal force and pressure oil, and their tips tightly adhere to the inner surface of the stator. The working volume formed by these two vanes and the inner surfaces of the rotor and stator first increases from small to large when drawing in liquid, and then decreases from large to small when discharging. During one rotation of the vanes, two times of liquid drawing and discharging are completed. The pump is composed of components such as rotor 1, stator 2, vanes 3, oil distribution plate, and end cover. The inner surface of the stator is a cylindrical hole. There is an eccentricity between the rotor and the stator. The vanes can flexibly slide within the rotor groove.
Under the action of centrifugal force during rotor rotation and the pressure oil entering at the root of the vanes, the top of the vanes tightly adhere to the inner surface of the stator. Thus, a series of sealed working cavities are formed between the two adjacent vanes, the oil distribution plate, the stator, and the rotor. When the rotor rotates counterclockwise, the vanes on the right side of the figure extend outward, and the volume of the sealed working cavity gradually increases, creating a vacuum. Thus, oil is sucked in through the oil inlet 6 and the window on the oil distribution plate 5. On the left side of the figure, the vanes retract inward, and the volume of the sealed cavity gradually decreases. The oil in the cavity is pushed out through another window on the oil distribution plate and the oil outlet 1 and output to the system. This pump draws and discharges liquid once during each rotation of the rotor, so it is called a single-acting pump. The rotor is subjected to a radial hydraulic unbalanced force, so it is also called a non-balanced pump, and its bearing load is relatively large. By changing the eccentricity between the stator and the rotor, the displacement of the pump can be changed, so this type of pump is a variable pump.
